Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Nurturing the spiritual growth of the young child using the Montessori Method

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, for children ages 3 to 12

At All Saints - Sharon Chapel, we have two Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programs.

• Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Sunday school program at 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.; children may attend one or both sessions — the 10:30 session ends in time to return children to their parents in the sanctuary for Communion (9:15 a.m. session meets during the school year; the 10:30 a.m. session meets year round)
• Catechesis of the Good Shepherd weekday sessions (in the morning for pre-school and home-school children, in the afternoon for all ages, during the school year, beginning each Fall) — currently meeting Monday afternoons, 3:00 - 5:00

Children can attend both, or either, the Sunday and the weekday sessions.

All Saints is pleased to offer an exciting and unique approach to the religious formation of children, using Montessori educational principles, recognizing the developmental, spiritual needs and capacities of the child. This method is known as the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
