Below is a list of the major activities and ministries, usually taking place outside the Sharon Chapel premises or benefiting the greater community, in which members of our congregation participate.
Carpenter's Shelter Bingo and Supper | Harvest Days | Outreach Committee | Sandwich-making Team | Sunrise Service
Members of the All Saints congregation host a supper at the Carpenter's Shelter (see the links page for a link to the Carpenter's Shelter website). The supper is held on the first Tuesday of every month; preparations begin at 4:45 p.m. Contact person: Renee O' Brien

Members of the congregation also go to the Carpenter's Shelter on the 4th Friday of each month for bingo and family fun night, starting at 7:30 p.m. We welcome everyone to join the party, the more the merrier. There are prizes and lots of good laughs.

The All Saints Outreach Committee regularly collects contributions for Koinonia and United Community Ministries (UCM). (see the links page to visit these organizations' websites.) We collect donations for both Koinonia and United Community Ministries because our parishoners live in both the Koinonia and the United Community Ministries service areas.
On the fifth Sunday of every month with five Sundays we begin collecting canned goods (soups, tomato sauce, tuna and canned meats, canned vegetables, etc.) as well as baby food and formula, beans, cereals, jam and jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, rice, etc. Cleaning supplies are also needed. Items for the homeless (individual-serving size food packs) are also appreciated. Parishioners are encouraged to donate money by writing checks made out to All Saints - Sharon Chapel, but earmarked for Koinonia or UCM, and placing them in the alms basin. These goods and monies will be delivered promptly to Koinonia and UCM. Thank you! Contact person: Vicki Sharp
The Outreach Committee is a group concerned with the presence of the parish in the community and the world. It is responsible for disbursing funds designated by the Vestry for outreach purposes, and has used these funds to assist in places such as Honduras and Liberia. Recent projects Have included assembling many thousands of packets of oral rehydration solution for the World Health Organization. The Outreach Committee also assists community-based groups, including Koinonia and United Community Ministries (UCM), with donations of food, cleaning supplies, money, and back-to-school items. Outreach Meeting - Open to all, following the 10:30 service, May 18 (Sunday).
On the second Sunday of every month, the All Saints sandwich-making team meets at noon, after the 10:30 worship service, to make sandwiches for distribution to area homeless and hungry. Volunteers (and hard-boiled eggs) are always welcome. Contact person: Jim Trigg

All are welcome to attend the "Sunrise" service at the Sunrise Senior Living Community in nearby Springfield. Members of the All Saints congregation host these services of worship and fellowship on the first Sunday of every even month (February, April, June, August, October and December) at 4:00 p.m. Contact person: Jane Delbridge
