About Sharon Chapel
Founded simply as “the Chapel at Sharon” in 1848, All Saints Sharon Chapel has a rich history including war, occupation, fire, collapse and, most importantly, the grace of God to continue to serve our community through it all. Today, led by the Reverend Cayce Ramey, All Saints Sharon Chapel is the cherished home of an open and affirming, racially and ethnically diverse congregation holding steadfast to our best traditions while seeking to explore the spirit and will of God together.
The parish is also honored to provide a home to two other congregations, Iglesia de Dios "El Sinai" and the Jesus Love Church (예수사랑교회) and benefits from its history with and proximity to Virginia Theological Seminary as it hosts seminarians seeking practical experience with a diverse and active congregation.
Our Parish Prayer
Gracious God, we thank you for the blessings of our parish family and the ever-growing spirit we share through your grace. Guide us, O Lord, as your reveal yourself to us, both individually and corporately. Grant us the gifts of insight and discernment so we may share the warmth we enjoy through your love. Keep us ever mindful of the deep roots this parish has in our community, and your call to spread the branches of faith ever wider. Empower us, Lord, as we spread your word, and grant us peace, safe harbor, and unity for the sake of your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
