Dear Sharon Chapel,
This Sunday we can worship together despite being unable to come together in-person. Working together with Olivet, Church of the Spirit, St. Margaret's, and St. Mark's we have planned a service of Morning Prayer that will be accessible via telephone and Zoom videoconferencing.
Sunday, March 15th
Here are the technical details:
Telephone call-in: 1 (646) 876-9923
Meeting ID: 789 769 767
Join Zoom Meeting
On Sunday morning, either call the 646 phone number above or click on the Zoom Meeting link to join the worship. We can host as many as 500 participants so invite your friends and neighbors as well if they would like a "place" to go in these trying times.
In the midst of anxiety and uncertainty, we continue to hold fast to the promise that God is with us and will not abandon us to our fear. Keep checking-in with each other, keep communicating, keep praying, keep loving.
"Therefore, my friends, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain (that is, through his flesh), and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching." - Heberws 10:19-25
